Why buyers source this category from Yiwu
Yiwu sells to the world's small and mid-sized operators, which means the people here are used to a container that holds eleven different product types going to one shop. That is a different business from a single-product factory: the value is in assortment, consolidation and documentation, not in being the cheapest place to press a sheet of steel.
We are one such supplier: Yiwu Fenghuang Kitchen Equipment Firm, booth 21144 on the second floor of the Yiwu International Production Materials Market, exporting since 2013, manufacturer and trading, sourcing from partner works in Guangdong. The catalogue on this site is our printed export catalogue — 92 product families, 659 model codes, 57 categories across 7 departments.
The order, step by step
| Stage | What happens | What you should get from us |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Enquiry | You send a list — model codes, or photos, or just what the business needs | A quote per line item, with the configuration written out |
| 2. Specification | Voltage, frequency, refrigerant, plug, material, wooden crate or carton | Confirmed spec on the quote, not a verbal yes |
| 3. Proforma invoice | Quantities, unit specs, packing, CBM, total, lead time, payment terms | PI with our registered company name matching the booth |
| 4. Production | Goods are built or collected from the partner works and inspected internally | Photos of your actual machines, nameplates included |
| 5. Inspection | Your agent or a third party inspects before balance and before loading | Free access to the goods and the packing list |
| 6. Loading | Mixed container or LCL, with a loading plan by CBM | Container loading photos and a sealed-count list |
| 7. Documents | Invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin where applicable | Documents that match the physical goods exactly |
| 8. After sales | Wear parts, plates, blades, gaskets, hinges, thermostats | Spare parts quoted against the model code you bought |
Minimum order: one unit, and why we do it that way
Our minimum order is one unit per model. A butcher testing one grinder, a cafe buying a single undercounter fridge, a hotel ordering three worktables — all normal. The reason is commercial, not generous: most of our buyers become repeat customers, and the fastest way to lose one is to demand a quantity they cannot store.
Where a single unit makes sense is in the trial order. Buy one machine, run it for a month in your own kitchen, then order the rest with the container you were already going to fill. The freight on one machine is silly; folded into a mixed container it is noise.
Mixed containers, and how to plan one
- Every product page publishes the carton or external dimensions where our catalogue prints them, so you can build a load plan rather than guess.
- A 20 GP container is volume-limited for refrigeration and weight-limited for stainless; a 40 HQ is where mixed kitchen orders usually make sense.
- Heavy items go on the floor, glass-door cabinets stand, and smallware travels inside the empty cavities of larger machines — that is how a container of 30 line items arrives without a dent.
- Tell us early that you are consolidating. It changes packing, and packing changed late is the most common source of damage claims.
How to verify any market supplier — including us
- Ask for the booth number and the market, then check it exists. Ours is 21144, second floor, Yiwu International Production Materials Market; there is a 3D virtual tour and a market storefront listing linked from every page of this site.
- Compare the company name on the proforma invoice with the name on the bill of lading. A mismatch is not paperwork trivia — it is who owns your claim if something goes wrong.
- Ask for photographs of the actual machines with your order written on a card beside them, not catalogue renders.
- Put the specification in the document. If the frequency winding, the tropical condenser or the wooden crate is only in a chat thread, it does not exist.
- Send your own inspector, or accept theirs only if they were appointed by you. Inspection paid for by the seller is a marketing photo.
What we will not tell you
No factory floor area, no employee count, no monthly capacity, no named customers in your country, no certificate we cannot hand you. Where a specification is not printed in our catalogue, the page shows an em dash instead of a number. If a competitor gives you all of those figures and we give you blanks, that is the difference we are asking you to price.
Shipping terms and documents
| Term | Who does what | When it is the right choice |
|---|---|---|
| FOB Ningbo or Shanghai | We clear export and deliver to the port; you own the sea leg | You have your own freight agent and rates |
| CIF to your port | We arrange and pay freight and insurance to destination | You want one less thing to manage |
| DDP to your door | Delivered duty paid — the all-in price lands at your shop | You are buying a small order or a trial unit |
| Ex-works / consolidation | You send an agent to collect from the booth | You are already consolidating from several suppliers |
Import duty, conformity certificates and clearance are the importer's side of the line, and they differ by country. The conformity guide on this site covers SABER, ECAS, SONCAP, PVoC and NAFEZA, and who issues each.
Send the list, the country, and the voltage on your nameplate. You will get a quote line by line, a minimum of one unit each, and a straight answer about what we cannot supply.
